Weekly Data Centre News - 20/03/2026
Weekly Update! All eyes were on NVIDIA GTC this week, and it didn’t disappoint. The message was clear: AI infrastructure demand is accelerating at a staggering pace, with NVIDIA pointing to a potential $1 trillion opportunity in AI systems over the next few years. The focus has shifted beyond training to inference, agentic AI, and full-scale “AI factories,” with new platforms, chips, and partnerships designed to power the next phase of deployment. In short, the build-out we’ve been talking about isn’t slowing, it’s expanding.
On a personal note, the newsletter hit a new milestone this week, over 46,000+ subscribers on LinkedIn and 5,300+ on Substack. Thank you all for being part of this growing community, clearly there are a lot of eyes on this industry right now.
